Dr. Norman C. Francis, Chairman of the Board
Dr. Francis is a founding Director of the Bank and has served as its Chairman
since the Bank’s inception in 1972. He is also President of Xavier
University, a position he has held since 1968. Under his dynamic leadership,
the university has more than tripled its enrollment, broadened its curriculum,
expanded its campus, and received national attention for its award winning academic
initiatives and programs.
Alden J. McDonald, Jr., President and CEO
Mr. McDonald, President & CEO, has held his current position since
the Bank’s inception in 1972, making him the longest tenured
African-American financial executive in the country. With nearly 35
years of experience in the banking industry, Mr. McDonald’s
strategic vision and hard work have been crucial to the success of
the Bank. Under his leadership, the Bank’s assets have grown
from a mere $2 million in 1972 to over $340 million currently.
Ann Duplessis, Senior Vice President, Retail Banking, Marketing
and Sales
Ann is responsible for Retail Administration, Marketing
and Sales and the New Orleans Retail Division. Ann has over
20 years of experience and has held a number of positions,
including Vice President, Assistant Vice President, Branch
Manager and Operations Manager.
Rhonda M. McMillan, Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer
Rhonda is responsible for Credit Administration, Mortgage Operations, Visa and Risk Management for Liberty.
She has a graduate degree in banking from Southern Methodist University's Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.
With almost 15 years in banking, Rhonda has held numerous positions within the Credit Administration and Risk Management areas.
Ed Wood, President, Jackson, Mississippi Region
Ed
is responsible for the management and oversight of key functions
including Retail Banking, Lending, Workouts, Mortgage Banking,
and Facilities Management. Ed has over 34 years of experience
and has held a number of positions, including Senior Vice President,
Vice President, Collections Manager and Branch Manager.
Matt Sims, Senior Vice President, Commercial
Lending
Matt is responsible for portfolio management
and business development for the Bank’s Commercial Lending
Department. Matt has over 19 years of experience and has
held a number of positions, including Vice President of Business
Banking, Credit Analyst, Loan Review Analyst and Loan Approval
Officer.
Tammy Joseph, Vice President, Operations
Tammy
is responsible for overseeing the Bank’s Operations
Division, which includes ACH, Check Imaging, Funds Transfer
and Bookkeeping. Tammy has over 23 years of experience
and has held a number of positions, including Junior Auditor,
Senior Auditor, Financial Analyst, Bank Officer, Budget
Manager, Assistant Vice President and Cashier.
Dawn Dixon, Vice President, Human Resources, PHR
Dawn
is responsible for managing Liberty’s Human Resource
Division, which includes recruiting, employee relations,
training and development, salary and benefit administration and
employee retirement plans. Dawn has over 30 years of Human Resources
experience and has held a number of positions, including
Senior Human Resources Specialist, Compensation Consultant
and Senior Recruiter.
Joe James, Vice President, Information Technology
Joe
is responsible for managing the Bank’s Information
Technology Division, which includes the ATM Network, Internet
Banking, the Bank’s mainframe, Merchant Services and
Telecommunications. Joe has over 36 years of experience
and has held a number of positions, including Accounting
Manager, Operations Manager, Assistant Vice President of
Bank Operations, and Senior Vice President/Operations Officer.
Troy Roche, Vice President, Compliance and Risk
Management
Troy is responsible for bank compliance, employee compliance training, and systems support. Troy has over 17 years of experience and has held a number of positions, including Auditor, Quality Control Officer and Compliance Officer.
