Washington, D.C. (June 29, 2007)-ICBA Independent Banker, the national magazine of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) highlighted Liberty Bank & Trust, New Orleans, La., as a ?Top 20? industry earnings performer.
Liberty Bank & Trust was recognized for posting one of the 20 best year-end earnings performances in 2006 for ICBA member banks with assets of $250 million to $500 million.
"Community banks are integral parts of the economic and civic fabric of thousands of towns and cities across America," said ICBA Chairman James P. Ghiglieri, Jr., president of Alpha Community Bank, Toluca, Ill. "In addition to offering the quality financial products and services their customers need, community banks like Liberty spend countless hours and resources helping their communities thrive.
